Siena & San Gimignano (winery optional)

The first stop of our 8-hours tour is the village of San Gimignano (UNESCO World Heritage Site), example of a Medieval urban centre. Here you will have free time to visit the village with its beautiful squares, palaces, churches and the magnificent 14 medieval towers.

The tour continues to the splendid area of the CHIANTI CLASSICO: we will stop in a small, family-run, and non-touristy farm, where you will visit the cellar, vineyards, and olive groves.

Afterwards you will taste the wines produced and extra virgin olive oil, which will be accompanied by a delicious Tuscan LUNCH, consisting four courses of typical food such as pasta, cold and hot meats, cheese and Tiramisù – a vegetable menu is also available upon request.

You will pay for the wine-tasting and lunch EUR Seventy per person, directly to the owner of the farm.

In the afternoon the tour continues with sightseeing in Siena (UNESCO World Heritage Site): here you will have free time for to visit the Cathedral (Year 1215) (entrance ticket) and the City Hall (Year 1297) in Piazza del Campo, scenery of the world famous PALIO (historical horse race).
