Carrara Marble Tour



Discover the breathtaking Carrara marble quarries with a local guide, inside a marble cave (50 minutes), about the ancient techniques of marble extraction, and explore a landscape where art, nature, and tradition meet in perfect harmony. The tour with Jeep 8 seats, inside the quarries, departs every hour: first departure at 11:00 AM, last at 02:00 PM. Inside the constant temperature is 61°F.

Carrara, the city of "white gold" (its precious marble) between the sea and the Apuan Alps, has been recognized as a UNESCO Creative City, awarded to places where creativity and culture play a central role in economic and social development.

There is the opportunity to take a two-hour paid lesson in a quarry with marble sculptors.

The experience includes pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation.

The full-day tour lasts approximately 10 hours and includes admission to the quarries.

On the way back home we will travel along the Versilia seafront.
